Rosso has been a part of our stable since he was a green 7-year-old. This is when he properly started his jumping career, which worked in favour with him therefore having plenty of time to develop and grow into himself being a big horse. From there he flourished and stepped up to 1m40 classes with ease by the end of his 7-year-old year.
Now established at 1m45 level, Rosso is a great horse to step up the levels on. He took both of my daughters up to jumping their first CSI** World Ranking Grand Prixs, giving them valuable experience and confidence at this level. He is very straight forward and will take a miss even at this level.
This year Rosso was selected onto the Young Rider Nations Cup team for Team GB in Wierden with my eldest daughter, India. He also won the Puissance class at The Royal Windsor Horse Show CSI5* with Joe Stockdale and placed 4th at HOYS. He has jumped a huge 2m15 in this class showing his undoubtable scope and great brain!
While we know that Rosso would do a fantastic job taking his next rider up to the next level, we would be equally excited to see where this horse could go in another professional stable, having found all of the questions we have asked him thus far quite easy with his ability!
Lucca has all the ability to make a future Grand Prix horse. He is tall & scopey, but light in his build and way of going. As a 3-year-old he won the loose jumping competition at Addington, having always shown great potential for the sport.
He has been slowly produced allowing him time to grow into himself. He jumped a few shows as a 4-year-old and this year has stepped up to jumping 5-year-old classes including making his international debut at Chepstow’s Summer CSI**.
He is very rideable and has a great brain, taking everything we have asked of him so far in his stride. He rides beautifully on the flat, with three super paces and he is also established in his flying changes.
We believe that Lucca has all the attributes to make a Grand Prix show jumper.
The best is yet to come from this exciting young horse!
Colman is a yard favourite for sure. He is a little horse with a huge heart!
Colman has an exceptional record, up to 1m45 level nationally and internationally, and is rarely out of the ribbons. He loves his job and always wants to jump a clear round. He would suit a competitive rider who loves to win! Or equally he would be a super horse for Childrens/Juniors/Young Riders as he is so consistent and already has experience jumping at Junior and Young Rider Nations Cup shows.
This year he jumped double clear in the Medium Tour Grand Prix at Chard CSI** to take 2nd place in a very competitive jump off and placed 2nd and 4th in the 1m40 classes at the Youth Nations Cup Show in Wierden as well as stepping up to jump his first World Ranking Grand Prix.
Colman is a dream to handle and work with, he loves hacking alone or in company and rides very well on the flat and laterally. He is however a forward going ride when it comes to jumping so we would be looking for a rider to complement that if he was to be viewed.
Colman is half brother to Billy Dorito, who under Darragh Kenny competes at 1.50m level, and Billy Marmite who as a 7 year old is competing up to 1.40m.
Elvis is a very exciting young horse. He is a beautiful model and a lovely modern type. He is very careful by nature and has an excellent technique with the scope to back it up.
He started his 5-year-old campaign by jumping double clear in the CSIYH* 5-year-old Grand Prix at Chard Equestrian taking 3rd place, making his international debut a successful one. He has now stepped up to Foxhunter (1m20) level taking everything in his stride.
Elvis has a super attitude to work and finds everything very easy; we are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this exciting young horse!
“Candi” is a beautiful modern jumper with a fantastic natural technique. He is a great stamp with heaps of ability to go far in the sport.
Candi is jumping upto Newcomers level currently and is still green, but we have high hopes for his future and believe he has the makings of a Grand Prix jumper. We have slowly produced him from a 3-year-old giving him the time to develop and learn his trade so he has not been over jumped. The best is for sure yet to come from this exciting young horse.
He is British Bred as a product of the BDA Stud of Kyle Hassell and Kelly Aldous, and is owned in partnership with our good friends at Saywell Equestrian.
