Wishing the best of luck to our dearest Nic Nac as he makes his way to meet his new rider. Developing in our stable from a 3yo until 7yo, he has always been a pleasure.
Started off by Cassey and then making his show debut with Atiya at the Sunshine Tour, he was always very impressive. More recently under the saddle of India, he successfully competed to 1m30 level in his 7yo year. Now he moves to his new young rider to take the next steps of their journey together and we are more than excited to follow on! Good luck, Nic Nac!
Wodehouse Lyra
2022 159cm homebred mare by Diarado out of Wodehouse Voadicia, by foundation stallion Vrielink Vans Gravenstafel
Lyra is a gorgeous young mare with great confirmation and three lovely paces. She is a super commercial type with a nice uphill modern balance.
She is very well handled, but unbroken as yet. She is a lovely character and great to deal with on the ground and in the stable.
She has been loose jumped twice now and is looking to be a very promising horse to develop. She already evidently has a great can-do mindset and takes everything in her stride. She made a great shape over the fences, bouncing off them and used her whole body consistently. A great starting point for a young horse. She looks to be already very well balanced from herself and with quick reflexes and showing a good respect for the fences, we think she will be a very competitive mare in the future.
See below a picture that Cassey snapped of Lyra playing in the field, jumping into our water feature. From what we have seen so far, we believe she could also potentially make a great eventing prospect!

Wodehouse Valerius
2021 162cm homebred gelding by Chacoon Blue out of Wodehouse Boucida, by Silvio I
Valky is a super smart youngster who looks to have great potential as a showjumper, but could also be produced as a hunter prospect for the US.
He is very well handled, but unbroken as yet (only due to lack of time). He is the sweetest horse in the stable and loves people!
Valky has three great paces and is a very commercial type. He has the looks – but he also appears to have the talent to match. See below the video of only his second time loose jumping: he has a textbook technique and almost every jump is the same. A natural consistency we love to see. This paired with a good respect for the poles and mindset, we see all the right ingredients for a very successful career as he develops into whichever field. Watch this space!

Imperiums Uno
2020 British Bred 157cm gelding by Escape Z with Quidam on the motherline
Uno has been in our stable since acquiring him as a yearling. He has been carefully produced, but has been incredibly straight forward from the start and very easy in all ways! He is genuinely lovely horse with a great character.
He is a lovely quality gelding, but he is also easy enough for an amateur or junior rider with his great mentality. He would make the perfect ladies horse or first horse off ponies! He has fantastic natural balance for a 5 year old with his super uphill forward thinking canter. He already has all the ingredients to be very competitive in the ring and has a great respect for the fences, super elasticity in the body, but is also super brave and loves to jump!
He has all the basics and a great start to his education and is now ready to be thoroughly enjoyed by his next rider! He has competed very successfully in these early stages, with lots of placings and double clears up to Newcomers 1m10 so far.
Uno also has the WOW factor when it comes to looks. He is a super flashy model and looks just like his father, Escape Z!
Snaffle mouthed. Great flatwork. Good to do in all ways!

New Beginnings
We are delighted to announce that India & Atiya have returned home to our family stable and will be taking over the reins of operating our business full time.
Alongside developing our own horses, the girls have spaces to take in new horses to produce, compete & sell, if desired.

Successful MET III for India
India enjoyed a productive three weeks under the Spanish sunshine showing in Oliva Nova for MET III with her Stephex team. We enjoyed a lovely weekend there to visit and support! Check out some snapshots from her time there:
Elstar shines at the Sunshine Tour
Another wonderful Wodehouse Reference, ‘Elstar STM Z’, doing great things at the Sunshine Tour!
We have loved watching this new partnership go from strength to strength, jumping 9 clear rounds at 1m30 and 1m35 level across the tour with 8 placings! What a perfect team they make; the future looks bright for these two!
Billy Colman continues to make us proud
Small, but mighty. Wodehouse Reference ‘Billy Colman’ is nothing but. Together with young rider Summer Tanner, Colman delivered no less than 5 wins and 10 top 10 placings over the course of their time in the Sunshine Tour.
They concluded their time in the Spanish sunshine with Colman taking Summer to new heights jumping her first ever 1m45 LR class! It was great to be able to visit and watch them in action live! Congratulations team on a fantastic tour! We predict an exciting year ahead for this combination.
