Louise Bussey
Founder, Stable and Stud Manager and Certified British Showjumping Coach
Louise is the founder and driving force behind our operation here at Wodehouse Stud. She manages the yard and heads the training and education side of the processes here at Wodehouse Stud, being a certified Level 2 British Showjumping Coach.
Louise has a huge wealth of experience in the equestrian industry, and not just on the jumping side of things! Louise has also evented to a high level, been successful in showing classes and much more. She is a true horsewoman and has dedicated her life to the horses. Daughters, India & Atiya, have been extremely fortunate and grateful to grow up on the farm and around horses every day. Louise coached both girls through the levels from lead rein all the way to their first World Ranking International Grand Prix and Youth European Championships.
In 2000, Louise, alongside husband Paul, founded Wodehouse Stud at our beautiful Norfolk base. This was the beginning of our business operations, as well as our successful breeding programme. Now, Wodehouse Stud is home to top class show jumpers and riders, and we offer training and guidance through our Wodehouse Training Programme for students of all levels.
