Elvis is an exciting young stallion based here at Wodehouse Stud. He has not yet began his career as a sire, but in the sport he is showing all the qualities to make a fantastic competitor.
He is compact and elastic with a super balanced canter and is showing a lot of scope. Paired with this, he is a beautiful model; super commercial and very flashy. He has a great technique on the jumps and finds it all very easy with a great mentality for the job.
We have high hopes for this young talent, both in the sport and as a sire.

Wodehouse Voadicia is by our resident stallion, Vrielink Vans Gravenstafel, and out of one of our homebred broodmares, Wodehouse Boudica. Boudica, herself sired by Silvio I, showed great ability loose jumping as a young horse – with an excellent back end – however due to injury was never able to continue this under saddle. She has instead been an asset to our breeding programme and leaves her fantastic stamp on all of her offspring.
Voada has now started her career under saddle and has a great mentality and is super careful on the jumps. She has an easy balance and looks to be very scopey; an exciting young mare for the future!
Born on the 11th June 2018, Wodehouse Oswyn is our first youngster from our lovely broodmare Queen Mac. Despite her career being cut short in the sport, she was known for her exuberant jumping technique, and showed many a similar qualities to her half brother, prolific pony winner and European Championships team member, King Mac.
This paired with the textbook technique and class of his sire, the young stallion from The Billy Stud, Billy Tudor, should be a very exciting combination indeed.
In the early hours of the 9th July we welcomed a gorgeous filly, Wodehouse Ipsa, into the world.
Ipsa is our last youngster from our fantastic late broodmare, Queen Mac. Queenie is half sister to the exceptional pony King Mac, who had countless wins both nationally and internationally at the highest level, as well as representing our country at the European Championships in 2014. She herself was a fantastic and exuberant jumper, however her own career was unfortunately cut short.
She is by the exciting young stallion from The Billy Stud, Billy Cromwell, who is full brother to Billy Tudor who also features in our breeding programme.
We take pride in having bred and produced several quality young horses here at Wodehouse Stud. All homebred horses compete under the prefix Wodehouse. View the gallery below to see how some of our graduates have grown up!
Stan not only is a very powerful and scopey jumper, but he is a complete gentleman as well.
Stan came from the Stephex Stables initially, but due to an injury his competitive career was limited. He jumped successfully with Louise to 1m35 level and always showed a great mentality for the sport always wanting to jump clean, an important quality which is noticed prominently recognised in his offspring thus far.
Stan is a very correct stamp, with a beautiful liver chestnut colouring, and is a complete gentleman to handle. He was also competed by 13-year-old India in the Children On Horses classes, showing again his ride ability and great nature.
