To realise potential is to make something real that already exists in possibility, and that is what we try to do on a daily basis here at Wodehouse Stud.
We recognise the challenges that riders face, both technically but also mentally, and are here to support out students every step of the way and provide tools to help them navigate the path to success. Our Coaches
Louise Bussey — Head Coach
Level 2 British Showjumping Coach
Louise leads the training programme and provides coaching for the majority of our riders. She has a wealth of experience in the industry with a focus on, but not isolated to, showjumping.
Louise coached both India and Atiya all the way through from their first steps in the saddle, to international Grand Prix level and Youth European Championships. She is excellent with all ages and levels of horse & rider and has a great ability to be able to see and understand their individual needs to be able to get the best out of each combination. She excels at helping riders build solid foundations, confidence, and consistency and developing a better understanding and partnership with their horses.

India Bussey — Performance Rider & Coach
India’s primary focus is the development of our horses and her own sport career. She regularly competes nationally and internationally, which includes tours in Belgium and Spain, and offers clients the unique opportunity to travel with her and gain experience on the international stage.
When her schedule allows, India provides specialist training for riders seeking to elevate their performance and gain exposure to top-level competition environments, with a big emphasis on perfecting the basics and working on the all-important details in harmony with the horses.

Training Opportunities in 2026
Base With Us
Clients can now keep their horse(s) with us and benefit from daily access to our top-class facilities at our Norfolk base, regular coaching, and a structured programme designed for long-term progression tailored to you and your horses’ individual needs.
Training for External Clients
We will continue to offer flexible coaching options to our external and travelling clients. This includes private lessons, group sessions, and a new opportunity for competition coaching and support as well. Sessions start from £55.
UK and International Competition Support
We now offer full support at competitions, from show planning and preparation, to coaching in the warmup and post competition performance reviews. Clients may also enjoy the opportunity to travel to shows with India, both nationally and internationally, with support every step of the way.

Gold Full Training Livery Package
£1,365 per month
This is an immersive training package experience to be able to base with us at our home stable and enjoy our fantastic facilities and support on a day-to-day basis. With this programme you not only develop your skills in the saddle, but also learn and refine your horse management as we help to curate your own individual schedule to get the best out of both horse and rider.
Included in this package is
- Daily care of your horse (feeding, haying, mucking out) and support from our team
- Up to 5 training sessions per week
- Show planning and post competition performance reviews
- Use of horse walker, solarium and hot horse shower
- Access to our private hacking around the farm – perfect for your rest day in between training sessions
Additional extras to utilise
- Support at competitions walking the course, warming up and cooling down
- Apartment available for rent to be based yourself with us on site with your horse(s)
- Grooms accommodation available to rent
- Schooling for your horse on the flat or jumping with one of our own riders
Silver Training Livery Package
This is a more tailorable programme if you are not looking for 5 training sessions per week. You pay our full livery package rate as a baseline, and then can add on training sessions to suit your individual needs and requirements.
£767 per month
Included in this package is
- Daily care of your horse (feeding, haying, mucking out) and support from our team
- Show planning and post competition performance reviews
- Use of horse walker, solarium and hot horse shower
- Access to our private hacking around the farm – perfect for your rest day in between training sessions
Additional extras to utilise
- Add as many training sessions as you like. Training sessions are £55 per session.
- Support at competitions walking the course, warming up and cooling down
- Apartment available for rent to be based yourself with us on site with your horse(s)
- Grooms accommodation available to rent
- Schooling for your horse on the flat or jumping with one of our own riders
Bronze Training Livery Package
Coming from afar and would like to base with us and train for a few days at a time? This is the perfect package for you.
£30 per day per stable
To Include
- Onsite support from our team
- Use of our fantastic facilities in our livery barn, including the solarium, hot horse shower and secure tack room
- Use of our Andrews Bowen floodlit arena with full set of top-quality show jumps
- Access to our private hacking around the farm – perfect for a rest day in between training sessions
- Show planning and post competition performance reviews
Additional extras to utilise
- Daily care of your horse (feeding, haying, mucking out)
- Add as many training sessions as you would like during your stay. Training sessions are £55 per session.
- Apartment available for rent to be based yourself with us on site with your horse(s)

- Use of our Monarch horse walker for additional exercise and movement
