Second foal of 2021, Wodehouse Pluie d’Été

We were delighted to welcome this gorgeous filly into the world last night!

Out of our own Billy Comme Ca (by Billy Congo) who herself jumped to 1.50m level, and sired by the popular Diarado of the Schockemöhle Stud, ????????? ????? ?’É?é – stable named ‘Storm’ – looks to have a very bright future ahead of her!⚡️

Wierden CSIOY

We had a great show in Wierden for the Dutch Youngster Festival and it was great to be back jumping abroad after a quieter year last year due to COVID!

Billy Colman jumped fantastic all show placing 2nd in the opening 1m40 YR class out of over 70 combinations! He then stepped up to jump his first LR 1m45 Grand Prix jumping a great round around a strong track, and finished his week placing 4th in the 1m40 YR class on Saturday.

Florida VDL also put in some good performances with a double clear in the opening YR 1m40 class also, and jumping around a very tough 1m45 Nations Cup format in which there were only 5 clears.

Wodehouse Électrique

2019 colt

Cevin Z x Billy Congo

We were delighted to announce the arrival of a strong and healthy little colt – our first foal of 2019 – on the morning of the 6th June.

Électrique is out of our lovely mare Billy Comme Ca, who herself was a 1m50 jumper competing upto CSI4* level, and he is by Cevin Z who was 4th in the prestigious Foxhunter Championship at HOYS as just a 6-year-old.

First foal of 2021, Wodehouse Valerius

We were delighted to welcome a super strong and healthy colt as our first foal of the year on the evening of the 8th May.

Wodehouse Valerius, stable named ‘Valky’, is out of our lovely homebred mare Wodehouse Boudica (by Silvio I) and by the exciting stallion from the Schockemoehle Stud, Chacoon Blue. He is full of character and a beautiful model; we are very excited to see him develop!

Young Riders Nations Cup Team selection

We are delighted to announce that India has been selected to represent Great Britain with the Young Riders team in Wierden for their Youth Nations Cup Show at the end of the month.

India was selected on our own 11-year-old gelding Florida VDL after a successful show at Chard CSI** and will also be taking our own and The Billy Stud’s 10-year-old gelding Billy Colman as her second horse. It is so rewarding to be taking two home produced horses, both of which India & Atiya have produced from Newcomers level all the way through.

Elstar STM Z takes 3rd place in CSIYH* 5yo Grand Prix

We are delighted with the performance of our young stallion Elstar STM Z (Elvis Ter Putte x Cassini I) making his international debut at Chard CSI** over the weekend.

After a classy clear round on Day 1 to qualify for the Grand Prix, he jumped a super double clear in the Grand Prix to take 3rd place. Thanks to lockdown 3.0 this was only his second show of the year and so we are very excited to see what he can do going forwards!
